SELENA Gomez, the American Pop Princess and Blackpink, the South Korean Megaband teamed up and released “Ice Cream”. This dangerously catchy, upbeat vibe song has a stylistic treat accompanying video, serving up a series of retro-inspired looks referencing 1950s pin-ups and 1970s flower power.
But it’s not over yet. This went further, and Serendipity announced ownership, partnership and newest ice cream flavor with the award-winning singer, songwriter, actress and producer.
“We’re introducing a new flavor, Cookies & Cream Remix, to the ice cream aisle, inspired by global music phenomenon BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez’s latest single “Ice Cream,” available August 28th.
Cookies & Cream Remix is made with pink vanilla ice cream, crunchy cookie bites and swirling gobs of gooey fudge.”
“Growing up and loving the iconic Serendipity restaurant, I couldn’t be more excited to become a partner in their expanding brand,” said Selena Gomez.
“For the Cookies & Cream remix, I wanted to put my own personal spin on this classic flavor by making it with pink vanilla ice cream as a nod to my girls BLACKPINK and celebrate our new song Ice Cream.”
To determine what her pint would be, Gomez kept her freezer filled with different flavors to make sure hers was unique. “I had a sugar overload day — me, and my friends did,” she tells PEOPLE. “We were trying different things, and I loved how certain flavors would combine.
Selena also started a HBO Max 10 Episodes Series and guess what: It’s about Cooking! So we will definitely be back!
