IF you ‘ve ever been in Greece or are a fan of Greek food, you probably know about tzatziki, the famous creamy and garlicy yogurt cucumber sauce. It’s a perfect companion to grilled meat or you can use as a dip.

A REALLY EASY TO MAKE RECIPE

Ingredients:

  • Greek Yoghurt 300 gr
  • Cucumber 1 medium sized
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Vinegar 3 Tbsp
  • Olive Oil 1 Tbsp
  • Pepper 1/4 Tbsp
  • Salt 1/4 Tbsp

Slice the cucumber in halfway lenghts, cut out the seeds and grate the remaining.

Squeeze to drain off it’s liquids.

Crush or grate the garlic.

Put the yoghurt in a large bowl, add the cucumber, garlic, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper.

Stir well.

Refrigerate for one hour before serving.
